Join 2 dvd's in 1

I have 2 dvd's made of myself(minidv cam capture). I'd like to join them in 1 (1 has 2.2 Gb and the other 2.1Gb). Which is the best solution?
I tried with Nero Vision 4 by adding the vobs directly, but it failed.

if the two self-made dvd's have menus, i would try the approach outlined here:
Join two DVDs with preserving original menues (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=96211)
it may sound a bit complicated but if you keep concise notes, it really is not that difficult.

if you can live without a menu, or if the originals do not have menus, you can use dvd shrink in re-author mode:

No, the originals do not have menu, I don't know how to create a menu, anyway there's no problem with that.
