hello to every1
my big prob is that I cannot backup my movie.
I'm using DVDRebuilder Pro 1.03 (but also early verions failed) with Cinema Craft Encoder SP v2.67.00.27 and I receive the ERROR 0006 in the middle of rebuilding...
I've tried with these options:
- full dvd
- movie+menu only
- full dvd with "hand" edited dvd (deleted unnecessary vobs and relinked)
but everytime the error appears at this point:

Phase III, REBUILD started.
- Copying IFO, BUP, and unaltered files...
- Processing VTS_04
- Reading/processing TMAP table...
- Rebuilding seg 0 VOBID 1 CELLID 1
- Rebuilding seg 1 VOBID 1 CELLID 2
- Updating NAVPACKS for VOBID_01
- Rebuilding seg 2 VOBID 2 CELLID 1
- Rebuilding seg 3 VOBID 2 CELLID 2
- Updating NAVPACKS for VOBID_02
- Rebuilding seg 4 VOBID 3 CELLID 1
- Rebuilding seg 5 VOBID 3 CELLID 2
- Updating NAVPACKS for VOBID_03
- Updated VTS_C_ADT.
- Updated VTS_VOBU_ADMAP.
- Updated IFO: VTS_04_0.IFO
- Updating TMAP table...
- Processing VTS_05
- Reading/processing TMAP table...
- Rebuilding seg 0 VOBID 1 CELLID 1
- Rebuilding seg 1 VOBID 1 CELLID 2
- Rebuilding seg 2 VOBID 1 CELLID 3
- Rebuilding seg 3 VOBID 1 CELLID 4
- Rebuilding seg 4 VOBID 1 CELLID 5
- Rebuilding seg 5 VOBID 1 CELLID 6
- Rebuilding seg 6 VOBID 1 CELLID 7
- Rebuilding seg 7 VOBID 1 CELLID 8
- Rebuilding seg 8 VOBID 1 CELLID 9
- Rebuilding seg 9 VOBID 1 CELLID 10
- Rebuilding seg 10 VOBID 1 CELLID 11
I've also tried:
- full dvd with DVDremake edited dvd
but this is a "new" error:
"DVDRebuilder experienced an error getting MPEG buffer. [08.05.27] 00073 00006"

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

I don't wanna to back it up with dvdshrink or others sh*tty progs :(

edit: same problem with HC encoder...

so... is there another way to rebuild the product of dvdrb?

I've read somewhere in the forum about a passage into DVD Fab Decrypter before let dvdrb does its job but... same results :(

Before anybody is going to answer, they probably say:

Take the original full rip of the DVD and do NO PROEPROCESSING and try it.

If this goes without a problem it's ok, and youre preprocessing should be the cause.

Then we have the Copy Protection mechanism.

Was this title copy protected with any read-error (ARccOS) scheme ?

If sou you will get undefined blocks in the material which completely can make DVD-RB-PRO crazy. Because these sectors will be replaced with dummys, not complying to any standard. A lot of people think these sectors are replaced by compliant mpeg-2 black video, but this is not the case....

You can see this by reripping the original with DVD-DECRYPTER only, having not running any background tools such as Anydvd, DVD-FAB e.d.

Again such a rerip has 'read-errors' it's probaly copy protected.

The only way to handle this is using DVD-REMAKE-(PRO), and get rid of the first few cells/blocks that have the dummy info. Simply play back cells and see were the movie starts and DELETE the previoius blocks. You should be having no problems with chapters because you should not remove a programm itself. If so leave the first block untouched, but removes it's cell command that is a jump command to the original cell probably and you won't need it anymore becuase you removed them.

There are more complex schemes nowdays, the old schemes had only a jump as cell command after the first block/cell the jump over the read-error part.

If you not remove the read-error part, you get undefined material which will make it hard for DVD-RB to function ok, as it has strong presumption on what a 'complaint' DVD should look like. DVD-RB does need a compliant source, not one with dummy material in it. DVD-RB won't handle this and even does not do anything to bypass cells in copy protected DVD's.

The best way to handle ARccOS disks is set out here.

How to backup ARccOS DVDs (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=56831)

Not only do the ARccOS cells need to be removed from the IFO but also the VOBs.

IMHO, DVD Decrypter with a PAL does a much better job of ripping than DVD Fab Decrypter. This plugin makes it very easy.

Plus you can't get rid of all the tiny cells - the intro cell (usually #1) is a good MPEG2 cell, not a dummy 1. You may run into Open GOP issues.

Using the above methods, your DVD will be presented to DVDRB just as if ARccOS never existed and we are back in 2004.
