How to author MP4

[DVD Author]

Hi all, we are just entering the DVD autoring scene, and are located in Greece
How can I make main menus and Chapters in to an 9 hour MP4 stream and put it on a normal working DVD- Master for pressing. My Authoring programs can not read MP4.The point is putting as much hours of movie in a quit good quality on a DVD master. Thanks for your help

I doubt the mods are going to like the fact that you posted this in 2 forums.

Anyway, you can take a look at mp4menu (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=66583), which will give you a guide to authoring menus and chapters into an mp4 systems stream. Obviously this won't work with an ordinary DVD player, though some of the hardware MPEG4 players might be able to play the video content at least.
