hi sajic,

you will have to give us a LOT more information before we can even begin to help you out on this one ....

1. did you perform any pre-processing on the dvd using external apps?
2. where there any errors generated in the process?
3. which programs/versions are you using? muxman or scenarist?
4. please post your dif4u and scenaid logfiles.

this will at least get us started

cheers

1. did you perform any pre-processing on the dvd using external apps?
-no I did not- what is the best generally it is preferred that no external pre-processing is made to source materila unless you know what you are doing.

anyways, back to your problem ...

are you sure you didnt receive any errors in the re-authoring phase? by the look of your scenaid.log file, you made several attempts at rebuilding.

if not, then there is something odd going on here.

i also noticed that you are not launching batchcce from scenaid. to be honest i would highly recommend you change to this method in future.

there was errors in the re-authoring phase? I was trying to use muxman
but it kept saying there was no main vts5.ifo file or vts5.bup file so I tryed scenarist-3 and then muxman again...

(i also noticed that you are not launching batchcce from scenaid. to be honest i would highly recommend you change to this method in future.)
does this mean just automatic the batchcce to start.or what?

I also re-did the dvd before I encoded the files and I uploaded the files if this helps..

there was errors in the re-authoring phase please post your .mxp script, and your muxman.log file, and hopefully D3s7 or one of the other mods/users can see where the error is.
I also re-did the dvd before I encoded the files and I uploaded the files if this helps.. probably not :p .. but i approved them anyway :)
does this mean just automatic the batchcce to start.or what? no.
i personally use this work method:

numenu4u > dif4u > scenaid > batchcce > muxman > batchupdateifo > imgtool classic > imgburn

so in scenaid i have selected:
encoder options > open encoder automatically
> batchcce
> ccedata settings > use scenaid settings.

I'd also suggest if there are possible problems with MuxMan 0.17 to use the stable 0.16 - and if that works then I have a problem

I use dif4u >numenu4u > scenaid > batchcce > muxman > batchupdateifo > imgtool classic > imgburn

in scenaid i did have the following selected:
encoder options > open encoder automatically
> batchcce
> ccedata settings > use scenaid settings. as the big3 guide said to do...
and I will try muxman_0_16_0 and let you now

is it strange that I use muxman_0_17_0 for numenu and it works fine

I only suggest this because 0.17 is an alpha. Anytime you have a problem and are using an alpha (pre-release) version of any software it is a good idea to try again with older, more stable software just to eliminate it as the cause of the problem.

It is unlikely that 0.17 would misbehave with the Big3 as the changes are mostly GUI related, but there are changes to the mux engine (first in a long time) so you never know...

here is a pic to show what I am getting hope it helps....

yes well ... now we might be getting somewhere :)

could you do the same (pic or list) the contents of your VIDEO_TS in your 'king' folder.

oh and list your dif4u 'post-processing' settings

thanks

EDIT: actually scratch that. mpucoder is right, and it would also explain why the ifoupdate step failed to copy over the menus/extras. just not too sure why scenaid states that it completed successfully?

That looks very much like the multiplex aborted (the lack of ifo/bup files in the last vts is a sure sign of that), can you post the muxman log?

here is some more info....

sajic,

i removed the pictures you attached as they did not show any new information.

the problem seems to be because of this:Largest GOP of 43 fields exceeds DVD specification of 36. you will also notice this in the log:Starting scene VTS_05_V2_C15 at 01:54:52:08, requested for 01:54:51:24 which is why i recommend using scenaids cce-data to encode with, as it includes correct I-frame/chapter points, which is essential for such functions as button over video.

this is how I have the program always setup, is this right....

actually that seems to be an encoding issue or pulldown issue. What version of batchccews are you using?

It's also strange that all your extras are only about 14k

can you give me a screenshot of your VIDEO_TS directory

D3s7

actually, looking at the logs again and I see the first scenaid log you posted appears to have finished properly.. including updating ifo's

the second log you posted does not have the actual mux log part to it (looks like you did a scan only)

But the screenshot of the final directory doesn't match what I'd expect to see based off the log

new info, I made 2 new ISO's of the dvd's with DVD Decrypter and then installed scenaid v1.7.0.7 (public version) VIP , muxman 0.16 VIP , Cinema Craft Encoder v2.70 and batchccews v0.9.1.6...then I try it all again and the 2 dvd were re-incoded and I am now watching them on the TV thanks to jel , mpucoder & D3s7 for all your help...
