ok... im not complet sure this is the correct part of the forum to post it, but i couldn't find any better...
i came up to a (at least for me) very strange problem
the story:
i had a file, DivxFix told me it had corrupted data...
Corrupted data detected at frame 101052
Error offset: 591227258 ($233D697A)
Corrupted data detected at frame 101066
Error offset: 591282590 ($233E419E)
like allways in such a case, i open the file with nandub, write it again using direct stream copy...
checking it again with DivxFix gave me no corrupted date; playback bevore and after the re-write were both fine... (dont know what divxfix found...)
thinking everything was done, i write it on a disc, nero checks the written data and tell me - everything fine -
so far so good...
now the funny part
zoomplayer didnt wanna open it when i tried...
vlc did...
hmm... strange i thought
so i checkt it via GSpot and get this
"File truncated in the "legacy index" area.
· 7.80 KB (or 7,994 bytes) are missing"
opening the file on the disc with nandub, i get told it got missing blocks which gotta be reconstructed...
bevore you think that the burn went wrong and neroŽs check-burned-data is useless.... i did it 2 time... same result
no overburning or stuff... only 3,38 gb on a 4,7dvd on 4x speed (8x possible said nero...)
any ideas what to do ???
thx
