Hi All
I seem to have done something to my pc that has stoped it from playing ac3 files am not sure what i have done :o
I can make ac3 files with Sony Vegas 6, but now when i try to play them with windows media player (6.4.09.1128). The player starts but the play time
do not move and no sound, if i go into the advanced part of the properties tab and click on the ac3filter(v0.70b), in the main window and under bitstream information it show Channels = 1+1 - Dual mono, Sample rate = 0,
Bitrate = 0, and all others are blank, also media player keeps on running and
i have to go into task manager to stop it.
Now i d\l a THX-Trailer.mpg, this has ac3 5.1 audio and plays ok in Media Player(6.4.09.1128)
I have also installed Media Player Classic and that plays all the ac3 files on my pc ok, but this is no good for me, i use DVDlab Pro 1.55 to compile my
projects, useing pro EX within DVDlab i load up the .mpv and .ac3 files, but can not preview anything.
Can anyone shed any light on this, as i have already lost most of my hair :D
Thanks
Howard
