3gp video to Avi / mpg ?

Well have some stuff from my phone thats 3gp video but it`s not a very userfriendly format so I wish to convert it to avi ore mpg ... anyone that can help ?

btw whats so user unfriendly of the format? what do you want to do that you can do with the .3gp?

you can extract the video stream to .avi with mp4box (if its mpeg-4 asp), if its another video format you have to extract it to raw with mp4box and than find a way to mux it back to .avi or .mpg

the audio is propably aac which you also can mux to raw with mp4box and than mux to .avi with avimuxgui (or you reencode it to mp3 which means you loose quality tough)

yamb is a great gui for mp4box
