If you want to enter in a world of pain, try all of the above. Have two InitializeComponents, one for conditional compilation option A and one for option B. Open the form in the GUI designer, go into the project properties, change the type, then look at the form in the GUI designer again.. it's utterly screwed and no way to recover it... aaaaaargh.
