I recently put dvdshrink 3.2.015 on my lap top.
On my desktop i get a backup target option, drive e: being my burner hence the one i choose and no problem movie goes from shrink to temp folder (New Folder) to drive e: containing the blank.

But same version of shrink on lap top under backup tab, select backup target their is no option given for the burner drive only:
iso image file or iso image file and burn with dvd decrypter or hard disk folder but no drive e: burner such as with my desk top?

My question is why cant i get the target option of the drive e: burner with the laptop?
Also on the lap top the second selection on the backup tab target device menu is:
Select taget image file: and on my desk top it says select folder for temp files which is always a blank new folder. does this have something to do with my issue?
I cant seem to change these options?
PLEASE HELP
I've been using shrink for a while with no issues and i cant figure out why the same version has these diff. options on my laptop, no drive e: and select target image file instead of select folder for temp files

Hi!

1) Do you have NERO installed on your laptop?

2) If so, have you set DVD Shrink to "Burn using NERO"?

Does DVD Decrypter recognize your burner?
Is the version of NERO on your laptop an OEM version that was provided with a different burner? If so, that's why things aren't being recognized.

Otherwise, try the following (In the EXACT sequence listed):

1) UNinstall BOTH NERO and DVD Shrink
2) Reboot (Cautionary)
3) REinstall NERO
4) Reboot (Cautionary)
5) REinstall DVD Shrink
6) Reboot (Cautionary)

It sounds like nero doesnt support the burner in your laptop. you may need to get an update from nero.

can you burn anything with nero on your laptop?
