Hi

Is there an easy (i.e. 1-click) way to take a section of a DVD - say 30 seconds and capture that in a .AVI file that can then be played back on a PC?

I am sure it has been covered before in this section but I cannot find anything for a novice like me!

The easiest way I know is to get a version of DVD2AVI (not DGIndex). Load the VOB(s), select the desired range with the [ and ] buttons, and then do File/Save AVI.
