yea i accidentally uninstalled my dvddecrypter...i reinstalled it now, but...settings are at default n i forgot what settings do i change? cuz i remember to work autogk i gotta change up a few little IFO settings or something...
edit: usually i'd just check the tutorial but as we all know already, the decrypting step has been taken off the tutorial for quite some time now...i guess cuz dvddecrypter got discontinued or whatever...i tried a search of this site n found millions of results unrelated to my question :(

k is this right? just makin sure to confirm...file splitting? etc...
also, saw this in FAQ: "2.13 Audio level of resulting AVI is too low. What can I do?
- if its MP3 sound track then there is nothing more you can do as considerable level of boosting is already applied during encoding process. If its AC3/DTS then make sure you maximized boosting inside AC3Filter during playback (as AC3/DTS tracks are original DVD tracks and cannot be boosted)."
ok, how do i maximize the boosting inside the ac3filter? and to do so does that only change the audio on my computer's playback? cuz i have a standalone and never watch off my computer moniter

AC3Filter is used when playing back on PC - it's software on PC, not a part of the avi.
So if you don't watch on your PC, then there's nothing you can really do if the volume is low except turn it up on your sound system amp when playing the resulting avi.

In DVD Decrypter, you will also want to unselect "Check for Program Update" within the Events tab of the options.

It always puzzles me why people post on Doom9 not having read Doom9's guides... my guide contains the relevant parts after all.

doom9 yea i seen ur guide its just that the guide pictures show an earlier dvdecrypter and wasnt sure if 3.5.4.0 was exactly the same  ...ie. i dont recall seeing "uncheck suspect cells" option in my previous version...and am curious as to why the defaults dont automatically select
"remove structure protection"
"remove PUOs"
"remove VOB PUOs"...is there a reason i shouldnt checkmark these boxes?though i am quite the noob compared to u, so apologies if my questions are just absurd :o
also, i recieved these odd error msgs in my log...though the film seems fine so far
"possible structure protection found!
1 area has been marked as 'suspect'
dummy sectors will be inserted where necessary"
neways thanks everyone for ur info and help, please tell me if this updated .JPG i provided of my options setup is correct :) nobody actually gave me confirmation on the .GIF i previously posted...:( neways, thanks all :D
