Hi,
I just bought a Radeon 9250 today for the sole purpose of hooking it up to my HDTV (I had a post about this earlier actually asking whether it would work or not). My HDTV (Philips) has a DVI input.
When I boot up the PC, the picture quality is perfect. The colours are just fine, but it's at 480p, which I don't really mind. The picture is much better than what I was getting through Svideo before. However, right when I boot into windows XP, the resolution changes to 1080i. Now this should be a good thing right? Not in my case. The colours are all off (the picture contains too much red), the screen is flickering etc. I tried changing from 33hz to 60hz and various other options (such as colour etc on the TV set itself) and nothing's helping. Is there any way to FORCE 480p? or maybe some way to fix this flicking/colour problem? I have the same problem if I connect my DIgital Cable STB through DVI to my HDTV.

edit: I forgot to add, component video seems to work just fine. It's just the DVI input :(
