Many people say not to use Nero to burn DL discs.
For DL discs, open your dvd folder with PGCEdit. Then use PGCEdit to create an image file. Then use the new tool ImgBurn to burn the image to dvd.

@derekz
Hi!
What version number of NERO are you using?
Would you please post the NERO log for this specific burned DVD?

1) You've not stated which version of NERO you're using - and you cropped off the beginning of your log, including the NERO version information. So, once again, what version of NERO are you using?
2) "21.49.39 #23 Text 0 File DVDPlusDualLayer.cpp, Line 651
Start writing layer 1 at address 0 (0h)
Recording mode: unknown Recording Mode"
It would appear that, in fact, you selected something OTHER THAN "DVD-Video" mode...
By the way, I've had ALL successful DL DVD burns using NERO together with Verbatim DL DVD+Rs. (I burn a DVD file "package" [.IFOs, .BUPs, .VOBs], not .ISO image files)...

i don't know ...i've selected "dvd video" and default parameters.
which are the possible "Recording mode"?

uhm ...is possibile that the dvd+r is defected?
looking from near in the proximities of the central hole (starting from the center throws a radius of 10-20 mm) there are some small beads of air inside the plastics.. it is normal?

Would you please post the first portion of this same NERO log (OMIT your Registration number)?

Anything is possible - but I believe the reference to "Recording mode: unknown Recording Mode" is more likely at the root of your problem...
