and i forgot to ask what is the difference between dvd-r and dvd+r

The determining factors, in order to answer your questions intelligently, are:

1) What is the brand and model number of your burner?

2) What is/are the brand(s) and model number(s) of the standalone DVD player(s) that will be used for playing the buirned DVDs?


P.S. DVD+R and DVD-R are both burnable media that use different formatting for burning (Invisible to you, the user). DVD-Rs can contain a tiny 6Mb more of data than can DVD+R...

well my burner is a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B

and my dvd player is a sony SLV-D201P
