"bad MV detected" cce error MPEG2 (not mpeg1!)

Hi.
Using CCE 2.7 I get the error
"cce encoding failed: Internal error: bad MV detected 3:25 3: 25 / 3:32765 4:61"
at random points during each encode (could be at 2%, 10%, or wherever)

I'm doing MPEG2 from an avisynth script. using avisynth 2.6.5.

I found no documentation whatsoever about this error.

Can anyone shed some light as for what causing it?

not an avisynth problem. also fails with a huffy .avi input
