All DVD2SVCD users interested in a substantial increase in encoding speed (especially those with a P4 and using CCE) might want to have a look at this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=101353
NaN mainly had DVD-RB in mind for use with his modified version, but after some test encodes I can confirm that DVD2SVCD ver. 1.2.3 build 1 works quite nicely with NaN's version of DGDecode.dll. With a P4 you can exspect a speed increase of about 10%, some users even report a much higher increase in the DVD-RB thread.
IMPORTANT: If you want to test NaN's decoder with D2S, it is essential that you also replace DGIndex.exe 1.4.5 (which is automatically installed with D2S) with version 1.1.0. The only problem is that noone seems to host the DGMPGDec package version 1.1.0 any more. As a workaround it is possible to use DGIndex version 1.0.12 together with NaN's decoder. This version can still be found on Neuron2's site.
If you absolutely must have DGIndex.exe version 1.1.0 PM me about it. I can not officially host it because I do not have the source code, and that would result in a violation of the GPL.
Cheers
