Hello,

I have a problem... how can I scaling down a avi file? I have here a big 1,45GB Partymovie. I will now compress it again with Divx5 so that it has only 700MB...

But I donīt have an idea how I can do it...

Apparently, looking through your prior posts, it appears you've used GK before. You can use it again-- GK accepts .avi input.

If you want something more automated, try AutoGK.

Yes, I use GK :)

But I never had used it to open a AVI file...

The problem is now, when I use GK for the recompressing, I need to choose a audio file. This audiofile is in the movie. How can I extract it to use in GK?

You can use VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod to demux the audio.

Or, use AGK as I previously recommended.

So... I tryed now... But everytime when I start GK I got the VirtualDub Errormessage

Avisynth open failure:
ACM failed to suggest a compatible PCM format
D:\MyMovie\mymovie.asv, line 18)

what to do now?

Edit:
I found in the forum something like this:
AviSource("D:\MyMovie\mymovie.asv", false)

It seamed now working...
