Hi,
I'm trying to get a ntsc video properly encoded but I really can't find how,
the video is FILM mixed progressive / interlaced, I'm encoding with cce 2.7 and i've set the options as the original (progressive off, alternate, non linear) while the 23.976 video I get plays fine and is marked as interlaced, when i pulldown it i can see the interlacing and it's the same if using cce puldown, i tried forcing every frame flag to interlaced with pulldown wich plays fine but then the video won't import in maestro and there's an error: "Progessive Frame flag in Picture Coding Extension is set to 0",
I tried encoding with dvd rebuilder and it looks like the produced video is flaged the same as the original (mixed) but for some reason it won't play well (a lot of skips) so i can't reuse it :/,
I've read the progressive / interlaced topic without finding the solution, please let me know if there's something i missed ^^

What i can actually do is tricking maestro by first importing the "interlaced" working video then I reflag all frames to interlaced with pulldown and as the files is the same size maestro doesn't recheck it but i don't know if there'll be some issues then...
