Is there one or is it basically the same calculation that is used for ASP as well?

Why would it be different ? a bit is a bit. Of course, if you plan to use it in a container, you must know the container overhead, and if you want to use it with audio, it changes more things...

Get MeGui, it has a bitrate calculator that should fulfill your needs

I am missing Bits/(Pixel*Frame) Calculations in MeGUI. Is there a simple single tool out which does it? I don't want to start Gordian Knot each time just to see if I get higher or lower values as 0.12xxx.

those 0.12xx values are completely off for x264... also the Bits/(Pixel*Frame) formula is an empiric solution for MPEG-4 ASP that can lead to unpredictable results with AVC.

Hell gonna break loose!!! ;)

AVC compress so much more than ASP, so you can use less bit per pixel :)

Thanks Sharktooth & Sirber for making this clear. ;)

BTW: Where can I request features for MeGUI? Pls PM me. Thnx.
