Do you know is there some advance plug-in for de-interlacing which is compatible with gordian knot (not for auto), which is able to detect variable interlaced and non interlaced frames.
I had some major pain in the ass about some Japanese and Chinas DVD's, because I got formats such as, for example movie "the Myth" which is PAL DVD:
1 scene (12 interlaced and 13 non interlaced frames) , second scene (1 interlaced and 1 non interlaced frame) ... fifth scene (are all progressive frames) and so on...

I got numerous NTSC Japanian DVD's, with frames combination like: 50 progressive frames and 50 interlaced frames, or in some scenes you got combination like one interlaced and 1 non interlaced frames than again 50 -50 and so on....

Help would be appreciated. Is there some solution on the scene.

At least some of what you're describing is a method of converting NTSC to PAL by adding a duplicate frame every second, in the form of 2 fields every second. If I were you, I'd add Telecide by itself and then have a look. If you see a duplicate frame every 25 frames (although from your description, the dupes may be scattered around), you might try and add Decimate(25) afterwards.

However, you also seem to be describing some strange things. Some unprocessed M2V or VOB samples might help.
