View Full Version : Is Mp4muxer compatible with vfapi-convert?

Hello,

I have try to multiplex a file avi (vfapi-convert) with a file audio he-aac (nero or belight), it functions. but the result is strange:
- Mp4muxer functioned as if all was normal. no failure whereas the video has not been validated and the audio is accepted.

It is a pity. I believe to understand that it accepts the AVIS files. :(

But which kind of AVI file takes in account this software?

NOTE: VDM, make without problem the multiplexing of a file (vfapi-convert) and of a file ac3.

aac-in-avi can only be created with alexnoes avimuxgui and i doubt its supported a lot anywhere else
so i would suspect that you simply cant remux aac-in-avi correctly, but need to demux the aac stream first

Hello bond,

Thank you for your intervention and your proposition of AVImuxGui.

I use this method to test the polyvalency of an encoder and to conceive the difference of treatment of each encoder.

An example:
Encoding on 1 CD with Nero7 (max avc/realtime) for movies of reports (of more than) with several vobs.
Test of 2 methods:

Method 1: - dvddecrypter (vob) + dgindex (d2v/ac3) + vfapi (avi vfapi) + VDM (mux avi/ac3);
Method 2: - dvddecrypter (vob) + dgindex (ac3/m2v) + Tmpeg (mux m2v/ac3).

Method 1 is largely more fluid than the first. That appears essential to me during the playing of film.

For what concerns me, the multiplexing with mp4muxer is not total; unless playing is illegible what seems to me strange. In short…

I wanted to make this operation (mux avi/heaac) to test the time of encoding with Nero7.

Bye.

NOTE: I will test the AvimuxGui tool.

Avimuxgui don't accept the format heaac, only aac.
