hello guys...

i have a xenon dvd-830... bought it here in the philippines...

firmware is:
version: 05.00.05.01
sub-ver: 00.00.00.01
8032: 05.00.05.01
servo: 23.07.00.00
risc: 05.00.05.01
dsp: 03.03.01.91

i don't know what kind of MT1389 it uses... but will post it later... cuz i'm still downloading the DIVXtest v2...

i'm just wondering if other player has this DEBLOCKING and DERINGING and FILM EFFECTS setting on their player... ???

cuz it improves the quality of video output... i also tried PHILIPS and PIONEER... they have the HOME THEATER DIVX CERTIFIED LOGO... but still there is no way i can configure this settings...

and if it does have... how should i do it... thanks a lot...

ONE more thing... xenon dvd-830 has a USB support... i used to view some picture stored on flash drive... or memory card like MMC/SD/XD... where can i have a latest firmware or hacked firmware that support USB... cuz i'm afraid to upgrade it and loose the USB support...

thanks again...

Hi there.
Welcome to the forums!

I haven't ever heard of a stand-alone player that actually allows user to configure those settings. Maybe somebody else here can help you better.
As in regard to your other topic, I also can't help much but I guess you will probably only get answers from the player manufacter or if you see inside the player - that if you can read anything from inside.
All of my sources on internet don't have any mention to your player..
Maybe the manufacter will reply with the chipset version to an e-mail you send.
