Hi ppl, i been trying to convert an AVI (Xvid) file to VCD using D2SROBA and the result it's a VCD of good quality but with one big problem... The movie starts to play smooth and seconds later video starts to slowdown and audio keeps normal.
I've tried almost everything, including CCE version (Actually i'm using 2.50), changing the method of enconding CBR, One Pass VBR, Multipass VBR and nothing...
Always the Q Factor Search ends with Q=1. If I use DVD2SVCD without D2SROBA and CBR the VCD works great! but the Quality sucks...
Any idea??? I'm using DVD2SVCD 1.2.3 Build 1, but i have tried a lots of versions and got the same problem...

Thnxs in Advance, and sorry for my bad english...

I suspect this is a problem with your DVD player.
VCD specifications insist upon CBR video at 1150 kbps. If you make a disc with VBR, it is not compliant with the VCD specifications. Whilst many DVD players will play non-standard VCD's, some will not.

Thnxs... can you give me some tips to configure DVD2SVCD to get more quality??? Because all guides talk about conmon options and more related to SVCD but nothing related to VCD... I'm Using CCE 2.50, BTW.
This will help me a lot!

Thnxs in advance...

By the way... If I use D2SROBA and select CBR why I get the same problem??
