Hello,

I once saw a message about this subject, I am trying to encode "Groundhog Day", which has four audio tracks (Spanish, French, English, Portuguese). The suggested action was to decode first the DVD with two audio tracks and then decode it with the next two tracks. The problem is the audio is joined into the .avi file, and I donīt know how to manage the .ac3 that are left in the AutoGK Temp directory to join them into the two main .avi files (I know this is also because I am not so skilled in the art of encoding, so please forgive me as I am still learning.. )

Thank you very much!

use avi-mux_Gui

http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~noe/Video-Zeug/AVIMux%20GUI/

but if you have already splitted the final avi you must first rejon and then mux the other audio tracks

Hello,

I tried AviMux with relative success. Previously I had encoded the movie twice, in the first pass I created an avi containing spanish and english, in the second pass, I created another containing french. The I ran AviMux and loaded the first .avi and the french .ac3 from the AutoGK temp directory, changed the settings to split the file at the point indicated in the logfile and proceeded. Found two problems:

1. When the process was finished, tried to see the file in Media Player, but it didnīt worked. It could only be seen in another player, but the audio files were alright.

2. The resulting files were too big (760 MB aprox). I suppose it can be solved doing some tests with the size in AutoGK.

Thank you very much for your help

1) In order to have multiple audio languages in Windows Media Player, you'll need Morgan Stream Switcher.

2) In order to get the needed output file, you'll have to add up the filesizes of the audio tracks and subtract them from the video target size.

3) With such a small file size, you should probably use MP3 audio instead of AC3 - you can re-encode the audio manually with something like BeLight.

Hello,

I installed Morgan StreamSwitcher, but it didnīt help with the files modified with BeLight. For this files, the media player 10 tells that it canīt find a códec needed to play the file.

I also would like to join the subs encoded in different passes into one file, how can I do it?

Thank you very much

Sorry, in the previous post I meant AviMux, not BeLight..
