hdi put multiple childrens DVDs on one disc?

Hi,
I'd like to put as many as possible short childrens DVDs on a single disc. Can you recommend a tutorial and/or proper software for this type of back-up problem?

You can compress the files to MPEG-4 and move several of these to a disc from the burning queue. Take a look at this recent thread in Newbies on compressing DVD's to AVI/MPEG-4 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=101723).

The files you end up with can be viewed on a pc that has the codec installed that you used in the conversion step, or on a standalone player that supports MPEG-4 playback; these are becoming more readily available by the day. You can usually walk into your local consumer electonics store and select from more than one model, but the better models are mostly online-only, AFAIK.
