Hi, I write from Spain. Sorry for my english.
I've encoded several movies and in the last ones i've had a problem. The final AVI file stops suddenly when is played in WMP and in my home DVD (DivX compatible). But it plays fine in Media Player Classic. It stops exactly at second nº 5. ¿Why?
I encode in DivX 6.0 Pro with Dr.Divx and afterwards i add another sound track with Avimux.
If I load the same "wrong" file with nandub and resave it with both audio and video in "direct stream copy", then the new file plays Ok. So I think there's a problem with the AVI header in the original file, but Gspot reports that all is Ok.
