Hi,
I do have a movie that is split into 2 DVD-5's.
Now i want to join both DVD's to 1 DVD-9 (DL-R), anyone a suggestion how to do this easily?
It seems that the original spilt was done with Clone DVD, but this program -obviously- does NOT support joining DVD-5 to DVD-9.
thx in advance.

Hi!
Two commercial (NOT freeware) programs, DVD2One and DVD95Copy have easy to use "Join" features. As an alternative, you could use DVD Shrink (Freeware) in "Re-author" mode to accomplish this...

Hello and welcome to the forum-
DVDRemake Pro will also do it, keeping the original menus:

It costs money, but there's a demo available. I don't know if it's full featured or not.

DvdReMake Pro demo has all the functionality of the registered version. Only export is restricted to cut each chapter at 15 seconds.

i would also recommend using DvdReMake as a commercial solution. i have only ever tried the trial versions (so could not test full functionality) but from what i have seen it is an extremely powerful and easy to use program.
however, i would also recommend a freeware alternative of using vobblanker and/or pgc_edit to join the two split discs. this, of course would depend on how clone dvd split the original, and the time you wish to spend in learning the methods for how to rejoin it.
i would be interested in seeing a directory listing (including sizes) of both the split discs.
cheers
