Hey,
I was getting sick and tired of my ATI Radeon 7000. With S-Video TV Out i always see small boxes on my 50" HDTV and with composite out I see waves :( So I was looking to buy a new card for my system. I have a HDTV which has DVI input. I was wondering, though, if it would be possible to connect the DVI-D output from a video card directly to the TV or would I have to stick to composite or something?
I've also noticed that if I connect the DVI output from my digital cable box straight to my TV, I get the wrong colours being outputted. Like instead of seeing light purple i'll see dark purple. Component video's just fine. So would that have some sort of problem with the video card? I've never used the DVI input since I bought the TV either so...i'm not sure if there's a signal problem or what.
Thanks~
