looking to find away to write protect my files so they can't be deleted from my little one bashing on the keyboard playing

allmost lost all my pictures the other day was on the confirm delete and would of been permanent cause of the size of the folder apart from what i could of recovered from file scavenger but that would of just been a pain and not 100%

i don't know of anyway windows can do it but anyone know of a way you can or a 3rd party program that can

Make those files Read-Only and give a Limited Account to your little one? There are probably a lot of 3rd-party programs that can do what you want though, most likely freeware as well.

Hi!

Rightclick on the file(s), select "Properties", and in addition to checking "Read only" as suggested by "movax", you could check "Hidden"...
