Does AutoGK change the settings of its "dependent" programs to default

I usually experiment with different settings of codecs using GK, also i have noticed that in dgindex, the settings remian there until u change them manually like 'foced film option' etc etc ...
does AutoGK change these values to default or just takes the modified setting for encoding

niether, it ignores settings that was set before encoding and leaves them in the state used for encoding...
