I'm trying to use QuEnc with AVI2SVCD but I get an "invalid floating point" error. I've verified that I can run QuEnc manually without the error. Now I'm beginning to wonder whether QuEnc is installed correctly because if I delete QuEnc.exe I get the same error. I've verified that the path to QuEnc is correct in AVI2SVCD, and I've tried various path names but none make a difference.
I'm currently using QuEnc v0.61, so then I downloaded v0.54 and noticed that the zip file contains avocodec.dll. This file wasn't present in the v0.61 zip file. Then I noticed that the QuEnc download site also had a separate avocodel.zip to download. I wondering if this dll is somehow embedded within v0.61 because as I mentioned earlier I'm able to run v0.61 manually.
Anyway, I tried putting avcodec.dll in the same directly as QuEnc v0.61 but it made no difference.
Which files should I be using, and what directory do you put them in?
Thanks.
