FlaskMpeg or AutoAC?

Is it better to use FlaskMpeg or AutoAC to make MPEG-4-AVCs?
If I use FlaskMpeg I can only make AVI files but using AutoAC I can make mp4 containers. Is this the only difference?

Whats the best way to control the file size when using AutoAC? If I want to make ~250MB file what is the best bitrate for a 720 width?

I forgot to say what the video length was for the desired ~250MB. Say a 25min video.

If you have a desired size all you need is one of the many bitrate calculators out there to pick your bitrate for you. ;) (Remember to factor in audio, which most do.) It's entirely dependant on length. Choosing bitrate for quality is only an option if you're willing to let your size vary.

I can't help you with picking a framework, though, as I use megui.

MeGUI or AutoAC are more recommend to use than flaskmpeg for avc encoding. I would also recommend to stick with the .mp4 shell. ;)

Thanks all for your comments. I am starting to look at Megui and also got may hands on a bitrate calc. Although it seems that Megui has a bitrate calc in it.

I didn't know someone was even using flaskmpeg. AFAIK, its development hasn't continued for 2-3 years now.

I know flaskmpeg is old but it still works great for dvix and xvid encoding into avi. ;-)
