I have a couple of questions:

1. how can I backup a UMD I own
2.Once I back up that UMD, can I shrink it to a memory stick using DVDshrink?
3. can I back up my other movies I own, to a memory stick to be viewed on my PSP?
4. is there any UMD recordable discs out there?

I looked around and could not find research. if these ?s have been answered, could someone direct me to the right link?

Thanks in advance

Quote from Wikipedia
The Universal Media Disc (UMD) is an optical disc medium developed by Sony for use on the PlayStation Portable. It can hold 1.8 gigabytes of data, which can include games, movies, or music (or a combination thereof). Unlike the Minidisc, another proprietary format developed by Sony, blank media will not be commercially available in order to avoid piracy. However, there has been recent discussion about the UMD movie and music formats being opened by Sony, although it is unclear if this will result in the development of UMD "burners" (through CD or DVD burners). Sony has said that it intends to keep the game-formatted UMD specifications to itself, in order to avoid competition (and presumably to profit from licensing fees).

That sort of answers Q#4. You can find much more information if you run a Google on "UMD backups", but much of the information you're going to run across is either out of the scope of our discussion, or totally out of bounds. If you haven't already, take the time to go over the Forum Rules (top of page) and make sure you have a clear understanding of them, particularly R6.
