When I try to encode DVD into mp4 nero digital suggests the following options:

Maximum Definiton
Mobile
Portable
Standard
Cinema
High Definition TV
Maximum Definition - AVC
Mobile - AVC
Portable - AVC
Standard - AVC
Cinema - AVC
HDTV - AVC
Memory Stick Video (PSP compatible)

What's the difference between them? Does a profile set video output resolution (I would like to preserve the original DVD resolution)? What profile should I choose to get the maximum quality with a given bitrate (the encoding time does not matter)?

Another question is that I would like to preserve the 5.1 sound but upon choosing this 5.1 mode video bitrate instantly gets much lower. Does Nero has more advanced audio codec than DVD's one?

For a usual 120 minutes DVD video what output size you prefer: 1CD (80min) or 2CDs (160min)?

Should I change video resize method? I think bicubic is the best one but Nero Degital suggests automatic settings which I don't quite trust.

What other things should I consider when encoding DVDs in Nero Digital? Maybe you have some tricks, ideas or useful options? Please, share them here.
