Hi all.

I use the latest version of AutoGK.

I have bought Babylon 5 series and are converting them to avi for my Media Server. I want the english subtitles on them. Almost finish.....

But there are 2 episodes that troubles me. I can see the subtitles but the are to low on the screen, so they will be cut in half and sometimes you cant even see them. I tried some things but with no luck.

Can you help me ?

Have you tried the hidden option - adjust subs ?

I've never needed to use it myself so don't know if it fixes the type of issue you are encountering.

Is it the same problem which you are facing now?

It might be. I ran a preview. My source is 720x576, but in idx-file it says 720x480. I changed it to 720x576 and try again. I return with result.

Thanks for the tip. :)

Finally i got time to test it. But with no luck.

I have ripped 2 of my episodes and made a preview of both of them. I can see where it went wrong. In the episode that failed the "Original frame size" (idx-file) says "720x480" even if it is "720x576". In the good one it says the correct size.

Like in http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=86295 I moved the .idx and the .sub file to another directory and ran AutoGK again, but this time with CTRL-F8. Of course, I modified the .idx-file to have "720x576" which is the correct size. When I run a preview at this time the resulting avi show an error:

TextSub: Can't open "E:\dvd\vob\b5s01e13\sub\b5s01e13.sub"
(E:\dvd\vob\b5s01e13\agk_tmp\B5S01~1.AVS, line 23)

Of, course the file exists.

It sounds like http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=86295 but I get this error when I preview it.

Dohhhhh :stupid: Maybe I should select the .idx-file instead of .sub.

Preview was fine. Converting now.

Thanks for all your help and patience with a newbie.

Great program len0x.
