You have to also set DVD Shrink to either "Burn using NERO" or "Burn ISO using DVD Decrypter"...

1) Do you HAVE NERO installed on your system?
2) Did you install either NERO or your burner AFTER you installed DVD Shrink? If so, UNinstall DVD Shrink, reboot your system, and then REinstall DVD Shrink

Is your burner an external unit? I move an external burner around frequently and sometimes have trouble with drive recognition. If so, go into the Device Manager and look for "USB Mass Storage Device" under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers. If any of the entries have a yellow exclamation point by them, right-click and uninstall the device. Windows will pick it back up on reboot and load the appropriate drivers.
If after clean installs of Shrink and Nero, as setarip_old has suggested, you're still having problems, I think it's going to turn out to be a drive recognition problem, not the software. Troubleshooting's good fun, isn't it? :) Just keep eliminating possible causes for your problem and eventually, you'll arrive at a solution.
Whatever drive recognition problems I'm having, a trip into the Device Manager is sometimes all it takes. This may not apply to your scenario, but if it does, dive in there and do some checking.
Also make sure that you've chosen the appropriate format to burn to; I've been guilty of badmouthing my machine for not giving up my DVD burner when I'd left "CD-ROM(ISO)" checked after doing CD work.

1) Have you successfully accessed the burner previously, with any software?
2) Does any other software (Including Windows Exploere) acknowledge the burner?
3) What is the brand and model number of the burner?
