Multisession Data DVD+R

After adding a second session to a DVD+R the second session will only be recognised in the DVD Writer and not my normal DVD Rom drive. Does this seem right? I wanted to keep adding .avi files to the DVD as and when in order to watch them on my divx compatible DVD standalone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW i am using Nero 7 Premium Edition.

I'd suggest you simply accumulate your .AVIs on your hard drive, until you're ready to burn a complete DVD...

(Multisession DVDs appear to be a No-No)
