View Full Version : AutoGK 2.2 final audio-subtitles bug

Today I've been ripping and encoding the first season of NYPD Blue, and I'm noticing that for some of the episodes, for some reason, AutoGK has been selecting a second audio track or a subtitles track, or both. Usually it just selects the first english AC3 track and no subtitles, at least before this version. This is the first thing I've ripped with 2.2 final and this is the first time I've seen this behaviour. It didn't do it with every episode either, but here and there it picks a second audio track and subtitles. I didn't notice it right away either, so I've had to start over re-encoding all of it since some of them have these extra unwanted tracks. A little annoying when you're trying to quickly queue up a bunch of jobs and you're now forced to double-check every single setting before adding each individual job just to make sure it hasn't selected on its own some settings that you don't want.

I was wondering when somebody discovered that :) (I know I did 10 days ago) The reason is that "No Audio/No subs" option is not being kept properly during consequent opening of files. So if you have source that has just one audio/no subs - its ok, but then if you open source with more streams after that - it will select something for second audio /subs...

ah, I see. Is this something that's an easy fix, something that you might have time to tackle? Thanks for the great program, btw. Any plans on open-sourcing it now that you've decided to move on?

Since I had to re-encode 10 eps myself because of that - it was fixed on the spot :)
When XviD 1.1 is released I'll repack installer with some more fixes...
