View Full Version : Sony DVD Architect - A/V Sync Problem

I've tried using a number of DVD authoring apps (Adobe DVD Encore, DVD Composer), but have finally settled on Sony DVD Architect 3.0c. I really like how it will take video files of any format (avi/mpeg/wmv) and any size, and then automatically convert it to DVD specs - mpeg2, 720x480, etc. Also, the interface is the most intuitive that I have seen.

The problem is that the DVD's I author have audio/video synchronization issues. Namely, the audio somehow gets ahead of the video right at the beginning of the title, which leads to no synchronization throughout and some silence at the end when the audio ends before the video. This problem has happened consistently with 3 different DVD's that I have authored.

Could I possibly be doing something wrong? Or should I keep looking for other authoring solutions (Cyberlink PowerProducer?)

Thanks.
