I've heard that latest CVS Media Player Classic builds now supports ratDVD format (I think versions from after 27th September 2005).
Can someone compile a 'fresh' one for me?
CelticDruid compiled one dated from 13th August .... but I need one newest with ratDVD support.
Thanks in advance.

ratdvd comes with dshow filters, every dshow based player should support it right away, no?

Not with Media Player Classic.
It works with mplayer2 or wmp but not with MPC .... if you can try it. In ratDVD homepage says that MPC supports ratDVD format since 27th September and the problem is that I don't have any build so recent. My oldest build is from c_d at august.

well in fact in the ratDVD homepage, they explain how to integrate ratDVD playback into the MPC compiled after September 27th.
Below I want to show how easy it is to integrate ratDVD playback into this player. You can download the compiled binary here or use any Media Player classic binary which was compiled after September 27th, 2005...

It seems that Media Player Classic no longer can play the ratDVD files :-/ The last version it worked in was 6.4.8.7.

Nope, it does. You just have to enable support for it (Options -> Player -> Formats and so mark in the 'ratDVD' box). I'm using latest MPC ...

Hi, Danpos,
I've tried MPC version 6.4.8.9 and it can't open. It says: "Cannot find DVD directory".
I've read the thread about the AC3 filter, but I didn't install it.
Do you have any other sugestions? Thanks.

Hi mate! :) No clue about your problem since that I did a fresh reinstall of my system and didn't install ratdvd anymore. :(
I wish luck in your journey to find out the solution to your issue. :)
