I've tried myself, and I can say for sure that the recording(timeshifting) function works alot better. It now records in YUY2 interlaced at full resolution at 30fps without frame drops. I can even import into vdub and use mvbob without any issues.

Unfortunately it can't work with ffdshow ( or at least the 20050909 version) like 4.1.12 used to be able to do.

Fortunately the Huffyuv CCESP patch version works fine.

Strange that at the soundforge site, the new version didn't stay there for long.

I'm not surprised.

There are too many bugs in the program that need to be ironed out, such as ffdshow issues, and installation errors. I've been able to work around the installation errors with a little tinkering. The ffdshow issues should be solved in version 4.1.14.

However if anybody wants to try 4.1.13 (now an unofficial build since 10-14-05), I can host it via rapidshare.de or yousendit.com if anybody is interested.
