This my first try at using Avi2DVD. I printed out the guide at afterdawn and followed the steps. The program stopped
with the error Couldn't execute the application.

File progress was as follows:

Demux-successfully!
Extracted_Audio.mp3 55947840
Audio Extracted renamed successfully

c:[my temp directory\Avi2dvd_temp\
Fixed_Audio01.mp3 55947840

Starts Mp3->Ac3 conversion

[error messg]

Couldn't execute the application

So everything went ok up to there.

Settings for Avi2DVD all directly from the guide.

Space available on hd 11.3G
Space needed 9.G

The vai was from a bittorrent archive. it plays through
Winamp. I want to get it onto standard dvd media.

You may want to re-read the rules, particularly #6. Bittorrent is a well-known method of illegally downloading copyrighted material.

What does this have to do with 'Can't execute program'?

This avi comes from a video capture if I'm not mistaken.

There should be no copy protects on it. It's just a tv
documentary.

Why does the sound file kill rather than the video?
