I cannot merge with the program (post rip) I have b/c it no likey two diff resolutions.
is there any way i can get these two to merge? there is an auto width in autogk but not an auto height!

Hi!
I too have the "flipper" (Region 1) of "The Wild Bunch" - and both sides have the same resolution!
Be that as it may, couldn't you load the second file into VirtualDub and use the "Resize" filter?

Wait for the remastered 16:9 version of The Wild Bunch early next year. The current R1 DVD is atrocious.
Yeah, I know, off topic. If AutoGK insists on giving you 2 differing resolutions, I might suggest going into the Hidden Options and forcing ITU Resizing. Either that or perhaps choose a different Horizontal resolution in AutoGK, like 640.

@manono
The current R1 DVD is atrocious.
Not to those of us who appreciate/remember the aesthetic of the original movie ;>}

Hehe, you must not be watching on a widesceen TV. I find the 4:3 widescreen picture, with just about the worst Edge Enhancement I've ever seen in a major film DVD, the graininess, aliasing and shimmer, make it just about unwatchable. It deserves better, and for fans of this film, and for fans of Sam Peckinpah's work, the Peckinpah box set coming out in 3 months is eagerly awaited. Here's more info on it:

Major Dundee came out recently on DVD, and I watched it for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.
