I'm having Divx5.2.1 and Divx 6 installed in my machine, both are original (and legal ) versions.
The quality of the final .avi encoded thru AGK seems to be having less video clarity as compared with the .avi encoded thru the other tools.
I could notice this problem recently only.
What could be the problem? any clue on this
Thanks in advance

Other encoding tools, such as VirtualDubMod or Gordian Knot, or other codecs such as XviD or x.264?

Thanks for the quick reply.
The other tools are DrDivx and avi.net with Divx codecs only.
I've not tried with Xvid codec.
Many thanks

Hmmm, interesting question Sibi. I have only tried Divx a couple of times, but in each case, for both Divx 5.2.1 and recently 6.0, I found Divx to look frankly terrible in direct comparison to Xvid (at the same res/bitrate settings).
Your question raises the issue "might AGK be setting the Divx encoder improperly somehow" compared to other tools. I would be surprised at this, but then again I was very surprised at how very bad a "commercial" tool like Divx compares to the "home-grown" open-source encoder Xvid.
