sorry to hear this,
MCbatch use VMR-9 as video rendering filter ( for preview ),
and you probably dont have directx 9.0 install on your comp,
so MCbatch cant initialize vmr and freeze itself...
not really sure if you can install dx9.0 on w98,but MCbatch needs it...

hmm,
it seems ( from PSDK ) that dx9.0 is available for all platforms including w98,
not sure about this,
then maybe is some funny requirments from windows api or masm macros that MCbatch use...
I'll see what I can do about it...

Ah so thats it...

I had dx 9.0 in my computer, but i also use it to play some games, old games (from 99, 2000), and dx 9 does not work well with them, so im using dx 8.1.

Is it difficult for you to change change the video rendering (if this is the only conflict), or just take off the preview funcion ?

For now, im trying to use DOS mode itself, as you can see in the PM i sent you. I started after i get some info in this topic, so even if i couldnt use this tool, it already helped me a lot.
