Sorry, a little edit error..
I have a ASUS Radeon 9600XT Vivo 128 mb, catalyst 5.9
The prob is this: when I enter capture mode with VDub 1.6.11 I get this error:
" an out- of- bounds memoy access (access violation) occurred in module 'quartz' ".
This does not happen if i use VirtualVCR or (!!!) WindowsMovie Maker.
I tried reinstalling drivers but nothing changed.
I have being using a SAPPHIRE Radeon 9000 Pro Vivo 64 mb for 2 years and never had this problem.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.

I already have DirectX 9.0c installed.
Maybe this question will seem stupid, but why upgrading MPlayer should solve the probl?

I know that VDub uses WDM mode, I 've been using it for years and nevere had this problem.
The problem is that VDub crashes when I ENTER capture mode, BEFORE I can change settings..
So I don't know which are the options enabled.. I've tried to delete the directory, clean registry and reinstall, but it's still the same..
Maybe anyone can tell what and in which library "module quartz" is..
If You need I'll post a screenshot of the error window..
Thanks (Grazie :-) )

I really can't solve the problem.
I've tried using both ATI and ASUS drivers, many versions, and I followed the right installing order: WDM no-reboot DRIVER reboot, but the issue remains.
If anyone has any idea, plz post it thanks.

I know maybe only a few people have this problem, but I try again.. :)
I think it's helpful to post that I've tried using VDubMod and it works.
So I'm asking why VDubMod doesn't..
