Please help me! I am trying to compress a few movies to RV8 for my 6600 (RealHandy) but XviDs just don't want to work! If I use my DivX decoder (v. 5.2.1), the file loads fine. And when I load the file in Real Produser, it only initializes the audio, or better said, it only reads the audio from the AVI container (when decoded by XviD).

What's wrong with XviD decoder? I am using XviD-1.1.0-Beta2-04042005.exe from koepi's site.

I'm gonna try with XviD-Dec-1.0-Beta3.exe soon, and see if that works. If not, I'll try with 1.0.3, and if that doesn't work, I'll just install the latest XviD and use DivX to decode.

Please help me out of this.

thanks.

edit: sorry, it still isn't working, even with DivX doing the decoding.

OK, I installed the latest Avisynth, but all it does is open the producer.exe window for a second or 2 and then it just closes down and says encode done. Gonna post this in Real forum too.

Read the rules, no cross posting!

You might wanna use makeavis which ships with ffdshow-binaries.it will make a pseudo-avi of your avisynth-skript and properly feeds it into real producer.
