Why is ".credits" only for XVID

Why can .credits be only used for XVID, why not DIVX

As i can't edit the first post so i am adding a new one ..

how can I know the FPS of movie for the credits start frames

fps of the movie is the fps of the source. For NTSC it is 29.971, for PAL it is 25.000, for FiLM it is 23.976 and the other two, 50.000 and 59.940 are for HDTV content (PAL & NTSC respectively).
