I'm not new to ripping, shrinking, and burning DVDs. I am new to splitting
DVDs, though. If anyone can recommend a good program that is preferably free that can split DVDs easily please let me know.

Thanks.

Try DVD Shrink or whatever one-click backup program that can cut off chapters. Remove the last half of the main movie for the first disc and the first half for the 2nd disc.

Or use IfoEdit > Vob Extras > Split to 2 DVD-R.

I'd say you're looking for answers in the wrong forum though.

Hi!

The OLD DVDFab, that can be downloaded from:

www.mrbass.org

It will allow you to split your DVD in two, while retaining fully active menu...

Take a look at DvdReMake (can handle everything) or VobBlanker (not for multiangle , multistory(?)).

IfoEdit is a free program that can split a DVD.
http://www.ifoedit.com

And here is the official guide to split a dvd with IfoEdit:

On a side note on the subject: Visiting Derrow's page I see that his program "DVD Split" is available again. I guess he can offer it again since 321 Studios is no more.
