AVI synch fine, DVD audio out of synch

Hello,

I've been using VSO DivxToDVD for the easiest way to convert my AVI files to DVD, and haven't had any audio synching problems yet.

I have a file that is synched perfectly as an AVI, but when converted to DVD the audio gradually gets worse throughout the movie.

I've read a few threads on how to fix audio problems in the AVI, but I don't quite understand the way to fix audio problems after encoding.

Any help would be appreciated!

As the desync is not constant, the most obvious culprits, off the top of my head, are an unusual framerate or samplerate. Assuming VSO isn't dropping frames or something like that.
